About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Mid 5x8-Hour (2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM) Guaranteed Hours : Discuss with manager Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Active IL state license required (or must be in application process) Certifications : ARRT, ARRT-CT, BLS Must-Have : - Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ICU, Emergency Department, Level I Trauma- Expertise in Abdomen and Pelvis CT Skills (with / without contrast), Chest CT Skills (with / without contrast), Vascular chest (e.
g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)- Proficient in Head and Neck CT Skills (Carotid, Head without and / or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head)- Skills in Image Display and Post Processing (3D rendering, Multiplanar reconstruction, ROI measurement)- Professional Knowledge and Skills in Isolation Precautions, contrast media preparation / administration, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture- Special Procedure Skills in Coronary CTA- Spine and Musculoskeletal CT Skills (Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Thoracic) Job Description : Perform CT imaging for diagnostic purposes, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Work evening shifts with rotating weekend on-call duties.- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with medical staff and provide accurate diagnostic reports.- Flexibility to float within the hospital as needed, while staying within the scope.
- Adapt to scheduling requests and discuss any specific schedule needs with the manager.- Engage in continuous learning opportunities and complete annual modules.
- Participate in a 16-hour orientation program and ensure the completion of non-clinical and clinical modules.- Provide high-quality imaging services in a Level I trauma center setting.
- Uphold professional standards and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
