Reports to : Quality Control Manager

Compensation : $20 - $23 per hour

AVITA Medical is a regenerative medicine company leading the development and commercialization of devices and autologous cellular therapies for skin restoration.

Our FDA-approved RECELL System technology platform treats patients with thermal burn wounds and full-thickness skin defects and is used for re-pigmentation of stable depigmented vitiligo lesions by harnessing the regenerative properties of a patients’ own skin to create Spray-On Skin cells.

Position Summary :

The QC Inspector I position is a pivotal role in the manufacturing quality control inspection department by carefully inspecting the receipt of raw materials, critical and assembled components from receiving and in-process areas to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Responsibilities include following detailed SOPs and WIs, maintaining high level of accuracy including attention to the detail, organizational skills, and actively participating in ongoing training programs to continuously enhance skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform basic inspections following detailed instructions and SOPs.
  • Ability to utilize basic inspection tools as required.
  • Inspect components for quality and report any defects or discrepancies.
  • Ensure that finished products meet specified quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Report issues found on inspection tools promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
