Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is on a mission to transform healthcare. The Data Analyst will work closely with technology partners to address various data needs for the Law Department, enhancing and automating complex activities.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards to support business needs.
  • Leverage SQL knowledge to program and create reports.
  • Implement data and analytics solutions for the business needs.
  • Build knowledge of the healthcare domain through data exploration and project support.
  • Define data requirements for successful project implementation.
  • Implement data engineering best practices.
  • Deliver solutions and integrations across on-prem and multi-cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with vendors, architects, scrum masters, product managers / owners, and peers.
  • Diagnose and address complex problems, including performance issues.
  • Identify long-term, strategic data needs and develop models for data-related business processes.

This role requires you to have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of data analyst experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
