Position Details :
- Part-time College Health position at the University of Bridgeport
- 100% outpatient, college-based healthcare
- 9-month employee August - May, Mon-Fri 20hrs per week
- No call required

Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Role Scope :
- Perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice
Qualifications
Requirements :
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- APRN (Family, Pediatric, Adult / Geri Nurse Practitioner) or PA training
- At least two years of post-graduate experience as a Nurse Practitioners (APRN) or Physician Assistants (PA)
Preferred but not required :
- Urgent Care / Emergency Department Experience
- Women's Health Experience
