About The Position

Job Description & Requirements

Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech - CVIT)

StartDate : 12 / 16 / 2024 Available Shifts : 10 D Pay Rate : $1853.12 - $2135.12

IR / VIT Tech needed asap for 13 weeks4, 10-hour weekday shift, variable. weeknight and weekend call shift, rotation required, holidays may be included,Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.

• Prepares patients for exam using appropriate body mechanics.-Identifies proper exams based on patient need and utilizes correct exam techniques.
• Produces quality images through the appropriate operation of equipment / instrumentation.-Follows proper patient identification protocols.

Required Skills & Experience : -1 year of vascular or interventional experience.-HS diploma or GEDARRT registration-State of Utah Rad Tech License.

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.-Vascular / Interventional radiography certification, or one year of Angio / Interventional experience.

Preferred Certifications & Licensure : -ACLS or PALS certification.

Licenses : RAD-UT

Certifications : BLS-AHA; R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; VI-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
