Prestigious national law firm is looking for a Docketing Clerk to join their docketing team in their West Los Angeles office.
The Docketing Clerk responsibilities will include :
- Enters all litigation deadlines into the firms centralized docket system using rules-based calendaring
- Creates and updates case matters in docketing system assigning litigation teams for automatic distribution of daily and weekly reports
- Researches filing deadlines for state and federal courts, as needed
- Responds to inquiries from the litigation teams regarding docketed events, deadlines, and rules and provide specialty reports as needed to the teams
Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years of experience computing deadlines for state, federal and appellate courts
- Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court rules and procedures
- Familiarity with various court websites, docket searching and document retrieval databases
- Experience with CourtAlert or MA3000 is a plus but not required.
The Docketing Clerk has the option for a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office. Firm offers generous benefits, 7-hour work days, room for professional growth and promotion.
Targeting compensation range is $75k - $85k annually depending on experience.
