Stockroom Associate

We are a Parts Store and SO much more and weare looking for even more great talent to joinour NAPA family! We have lots of parts available to our customersand this role as a Warehouse Associate plays amajor part in getting these parts from our warehouse / stockroom toour stores.

What you’ll be doing :

Expedite incomingand outgoing freight in our NAPA Distribution Center Warehouse. Youwill receive, stock, pull, stage, load and shipfreight.

Process inventoryand maximize warehouse spaceusage

Check, verify, load,stock and pull inventory to meet store and customerorders.

Unpack incomingparts shipments fromsuppliers.

Pulls all ordersfor standard customer stock orders, special orders, and the demandsof the main counter and will-call accurately and as completely aspossible, routing products as appropriate and meeting theprescribed picking quota set bymanagement.

Uses theelectronic scan-gun, reviews out-bound customer orders for pullingaccuracy, ensures safe packing of the orders for shipment tocustomers, and properly labels shipping trays / packages inaccordance with D.

O.T. standards and hazardous material regulationsand procedures.

Cleans upand disposes boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well asgeneral housekeeping of facility and specific product line areas.

Follows and adheres to all safety rules including the handling ofhazardous materials. Loads customer orders into delivery trucks inproper sequence and according to freightbills.

Perform dailyinspections of appropriate motorized and manual equipment whichincludes lift gate, pallet jack and hand truck, radio frequencyscanners andprinters.

Operate warehousemachinery in accordance with established safety procedures asneeded to maintain the warehousestock.

Verify and completerequired documentation andreports.

Haveavailability to work between the hours of 7AM-8PM M-F withoccasional weekendwork

What you’ll need :

Previousexperience in a distribution center and / or warehouse environment Awesome if you have ever used RF scanning equipment - Not a dealbreaker if you don’t havethis.

Capable of lifting andmoving parts of up to 75 pounds and push / pull 300 pounds usinghitch-and-go dolly. Able to push / pull up to 300 lbs.

usingmechanical aids, such as hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydrauliclifts, etc.

Able to moveengine blocks and other heavy equipment with moving aids designedto move such items, including hand trucks, dollies, motorizedcarts, pallet jacks,etc.

Able to repeatedly bendor stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves(8 feet) with the use of stool or ladder whennecessary.

Understanding andrecognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure properidentification of parts for placement in the facility, includingidentifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately andrapidly.

Basic understandingand capable of operating a computerterminal.

Able to writelegibly and be able to read, understand written / verbalinstructions, and communicate to other teammembers.

Ability to bend,twist, squat, climb, push and pull and move at a quick speed ofpace

Must be able to work ina drug freeatmosphere.
