Job Details

We are currently seeking a talented, performance-driven individual to fill the position of a Permanent Master Scheduler in our Engineering department.

This role is ideal for someone who is an expert in Schedule Risk Assessments, Critical Path Management (CPM), and has a background in working as a Scheduler and Master Scheduler.

The individual must have a DoD Clearance and Q Clearance. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities :

• The Master Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing complex project schedules using project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Conducting Schedule Risk Assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
• Implementing Critical Path Management (CPM) to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborating with project teams to understand work plan and to ensure the accuracy of project schedules.
• Tracking project milestones and deliverables, and providing regular status updates to project teams and stakeholders.
• Analyzing project control trends to identify issues and risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
• Providing guidance and expertise to project teams on schedule management and CPM.
• Working closely with project managers to develop and maintain detailed resource loaded schedules of projects using MS Project 2010.
• Identifying major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events.
• Troubleshooting and monitoring potential scheduling problems.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project plans and schedules.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Master Scheduler in the engineering industry.
• Expert knowledge of Schedule Risk Assessments and Critical Path Management (CPM).
• Proven experience as a Scheduler and Master Scheduler.
• Must have a DoD Clearance and Q Clearance.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, or other project management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
