JOB TITLE : Maintenance Technician
DEPARTMENT : Maintenance
SUPERVISOR : Joshua Dunn
COMPENSATION : HOURLY LEVEL H3 pay range ($24-$32 / hour)
POSITION REPONSIBILITIES
- Support the maintenance needs of the organization by responding to equipment failures in a timely, efficient manner and achieve agreed upon metrics for maintenance downtime in production.
- Will help refine and adhere to the organization's preventative maintenance program.
- Responsible for aiding in the installation and maintenance of new equipment.
- Required to work closely with other maintenance team members, QA, production, leadership, and production teams.
- Support operators with training, set-up, adjustment, and operation of production and packaging equipment
- Report all safety concerns and incidents. Include possible corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with production and leadership teams.
- Execute work orders in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Help maintain hardware and parts to appropriate levels. Report inventory shortages to supervisor.
- Follow organizational standards as it pertains to tool cleanliness and inventory.

QUALITFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
- English (reading and writing), Basic Mathematics, Bi-Lingual (Spanish, reading and writing) highly preferred.
- Overall knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, automated equipment, PLC / logic control, and HVAC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, parts breakdowns, schematics, and electrical prints.
- Goal oriented team player, reliable and punctual, resilient, empathetic, highly adaptive to change, positive attitude.
- Must be able to follow all food safe handling (SQF) procedures.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance field, preferably in a related industry and on related equipment.
- Safety protocol & Lockout tagout knowledgeable.
- Food manufacturing environment (preferred). WORK SETTING :
