Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Location : Marshfield, MO

MedAdventures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team in Marshfield, Missouri . This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about enhancing communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities for residents in a long-term care setting.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to assess, treat, and support residents with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate residents for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address identified needs
  • Provide therapy sessions in accordance with care plans and physician orders
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on communication strategies and dysphagia management
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and outcomes
  • Participate in care planning meetings and collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing, and families

    • Qualifications :

  • Active Missouri SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY considered
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting preferred
  • Strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
