Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
This role involves handling various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare and file tax documents and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal departments.
Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures and controls.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Famous, or etc.).
Experience in Agriculture, Manufacture, or Construction industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
