SUMMARY OF POSITION

Assist the Finance department with routine tasks including but not limited to bill payment processing, requisitions, and more.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Maintaining all A / P records
• Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies
• Review invoices for accuracy
• Review expense reports and cross check receipts to ensure documentation is maintained for accurate reimbursement and auditing
• Prepare bank deposits, take deposits to bank, and record all receipts in the appropriate ledgers
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Assist in the facilitation of year-end audit work papers, and the preparation of PBCs
• Ability to prioritize and complete project work / assignments according to deadlines
• Ability to communicate professionally in both verbal and written form(s)
• Ability to use sound, professional judgment in decision-making, add innovation and creativity to work, use detail-oriented approach to complete workload
• Must be able to work independently and collaborate with others
• Ability to protect the confidentiality and sensitivity of information
• Assist with other accounting projects

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• 2-5 years A / P, A / R or administrative experience

• Hold current drivers’ license and reliable transportation.
• Travel to all parts of the facility and throughout the community.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Associates Degree in Business Administration or similar field
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Must have manual dexterity and experience to perform handwritten paper work, recordkeeping, and filing.
• Prolonged sitting, standing, or walking may be required.

• Employment is contingent upon successful clearance from Criminal, Kansas and Missouri Child / Elder Abuse and Neglect, Sex Offender background investigations, TB testing, pre-employment drug testing, and verification of Hepatitis-B, flu and COVID-19 immunizations.
• Occasional evening and weekend availability are required.
