Full Time - Security Dispatcher - Pocola Resort

Full Time Pay : $17.54 Hourly Schedule : Tuesday-Saturday 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am (Off Sunday & Monday)

Job Purpose or Objective(s) : Responsible for dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for Tribal Security and Tribal EMS.

You will report to the Dispatch Supervisor.

Primary Tasks :

• You will use a computer aided dispatch system, receives and log calls for service, determine priorities, and dispatches necessary Security or on-site EMS units following established procedures.
• Maintain contact with all units on duty; maintain status and location of Security and EMS Units.
• Assist the Supervisor in training, direction, and evaluation of the activities of trainees.
• Answer non-emergency calls for assistance.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Have or can maintain certification
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and time management skills.
• Communicate with groups and individuals both orally and in writing.
• Must have knowledge of and ability to work with appropriate hardware and software.
• Previous dispatch experience preferred but not required
