job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOpportunities for continuing education and skill development Collaborative and professional work environment Exposure to advanced technology and diverse clinical cases Deliver safe and effective radiation therapy treatments, ensuring patient confidentiality and dignity Operate and monitor therapeutic equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions Support special procedures, clinical training, and onboarding of new therapists and students Maintain accurate patient records, treatment parameters, and billing codes Provide coverage for emergencies, weekends, and multiple radiation oncology locations as required Graduation from an approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology ARRT Certification and Connecticut Licensure (required) BLS Certification (preferred) Minimum 5 years of radiation therapy experience, including 1–3 years in radiation oncology Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, assist patients with mobility, and work in high-stress clinical environments
