- Physical Therapist istantPTA is responsible to organize and conduct physical therapyprograms planned and overseen by the Physical Therapist tofacilitate rehabilitation of those residents who have experienced adecrease in functions.
- Physical Therapististant PTA will ist in planning organizing developing andimplementing Physical Therapy services under the supervision of thePhysical Therapist to ensure that the highest degree of qualityresident care can be maintained at alltimes.
- Physical Therapist istant PTA performstreatment programs for igned residents
- PhysicalTherapist istant PTA enters billing information in an accurate andtimely manner
- Report resident progress inmeetings i.e. UR Meeting Patient / Family Conference as deemedrequired or appropriate
- Consult with othermembers of the rehabilitation team to coordinate physical therapywith other theutic activities
- Provide residentswith equipment as appropriate
- Chart notes in aninformative and descriptive manner that reflects the therapyprovided to the residents as well as the residents response to thetherapy
- Perform routine doentation as requiredand in accordance with our elished charting and doentation policiesand procedures.
Sign and date all entries made in residents medicalrecord.
Cooperate with all departments andstaff facilitating harmonious working conditions to promote optimalresident care
Requirements :
- Graduate of an accredited school of PhysicalTherapy istant PTA
- Licensed in NY State as aPhysical Therapist istant PTA; license in goodstanding
- Previous sed nursing facility (SNF)experience highly preffered
- Work well underpressure & willing to work harmoniously with allstaff
- Sincere desire to work with the elderlychronically ill and handicapped
- Excellentcustomer service ss
- Must be able to communicatewell verbally with residents families andstaff
- Treat residents and fellow staff withrespect dignity and compion
- Covid19vaccinations are encouraged but NOTMANDATED ; we continue to offer COVID19 vaccinationbased on eligibility guidance fromCDC
