Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : A minimum of two years in emergency room settings is required. Skills in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation are necessary.
License : New York State RN License with Primary Source Verification
Certifications :
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Must-Have :
- Proficiency in English (spoken, read, and written)
- IV / Phlebotomy experience
Job Description :
- Provide comprehensive care in an emergency room setting.
- Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy efficiently.
- Administer conscious sedation when necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency protocols and medical procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Adapt to fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making and critical-thinking skills.
