Maintenance Manager
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing purchasing processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in the procurement of raw materials and supplies.
This position has fiduciary responsibility to meet maintenance and production goals and budgets.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical expertise in maintenance practices.
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor management expertise.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and quality standards.
- Ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic recommendations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and availability of
equipment to meet production needs.
Lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers to carry out preventive and corrective
maintenance tasks.
- Establish maintenance schedules and prioritize maintenance activities based on operational needs.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities without
disrupting operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
- Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively to meet maintenance goals.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in maintenance processes.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
