Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing purchasing processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality in the procurement of raw materials and supplies.

This position has fiduciary responsibility to meet maintenance and production goals and budgets.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical expertise in maintenance practices.
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management expertise.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of food industry regulations and quality standards.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic recommendations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and availability of

equipment to meet production needs.

Lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers to carry out preventive and corrective

maintenance tasks.

  • Establish maintenance schedules and prioritize maintenance activities based on operational needs.
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities without

disrupting operations.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively to meet maintenance goals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in maintenance processes.
