Primary Responsibilities :
The development of NENA (National Emergency Number Association) i3 standards compliance enablement interface of our ECH (emergency call handling) product portfolio
The interoperability validation of our ECM (emergency call management) NENA i3 compliance with both our internal NGCS and ECH solutions and these with external vendors as prioritized by the product management team
The development of network and firewall reference architecture and designs in support of prioritized solution deployment models for our ECH product portfolio and our NGCS (next generation call services) Command Central Router solution
Complete effective transitions of reference network architecture and designs from development and test to release readiness for MSI deployment and support teams
Provide L4 escalation support for deployed production systems as SME capacity of potential issues regarding networking (firewall incl) or potential issues with i3-IOT inconsistencies.
Provide escalation support when available and prioritized for critical customer deployment issues
Maintain knowledge sharing and best practices across R&D, deployment and support teams with specific focus on networks in an effort to reduce deployment costs, improve support capabilities and ongoing assessment of technology and cost considerations
Establish and maintain a backlog of network design and network product requirements and associated priorities of improving quality, availability, cost reduction, and implementation and support cost reduction.
Leads the team to define, document, and incorporate system standards into reference architectures.

Qualifications :
BS degree or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years experience leading a project and / or product development team
Technical knowledge of networking, firewalls, WAN and SDWAN required
Self driven, energetic, highly innovative person with a positive attitude
Effectively collaborates with technical leaders and stakeholders in a multi-team environment
Provides updates to leadership team on team’s progress, risks and issues based on data
Demonstrates flexibility and resilience in the face of changing priorities and requirements
E2E ownership for the team commitments and results
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience leading project and / or product requirements prioritization
Experience being accountable for leading resolution of customer escalations
Supports individuals development through feedback, coaching and mentoring in day to day work
Working across and collaborating with multiple-large organizations
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
