The Opportunity

DAT Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Market Analyst to join our dynamic team and work hybrid in either our Denver, Colorado or Beaverton, Oregon offices.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market research methodologies and have the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

The Market Analyst will have robust knowledge and experience with market research data, data integration techniques, and improving data utility through complex modeling leading to better decision making.

This role will report directly to the Business Analytics Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Market Intelligence : Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, market sizing (TAM / SAM analysis, etc.), business case development, and potential challenges within the transportation and freight industry.
  • Data Analysis : Analyze and interpret various data sources, including market data, sales data, and customer feedback.
  • Competitive Analysis : Assess competitors' strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning.
  • Market Forecasting : Develop accurate market forecasts and projections.
  • Market Segmentation : Identify target market segments and determine key factors to effectively engage them.
  • Reporting : Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing market findings and creating a call to action on recommendations.
  • Data Visualization : Create engaging data visualizations to effectively communicate insights and actionable findings.

The Skills and Experience You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in market research or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).
  • Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Excellent verbal and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bonus Skills

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific trends and regulations.

For Colorado-based candidates, in compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $90,000.

00 + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
