Chatbot Staff Engineer- Full Stack Developer

Job Summary :

The Health Care Benefits Delivery organization, within CVS Health’s DDAT (Digital Data Analytics Technology) organization, is seeking a Chatbot Staff Engineer - Full Stack Developer to help realize the product features for a Conversational AI platform.

This role helps our members get answers to their health insurance questions through the channel of their choice. You will be responsible for helping to align features and user stories to the solution design.

In this role you will have a holistic understanding of the application and serve as an expert on the end-to-end implementation of the application.

You will make significant impact by participating in feature refinement sessions with key stakeholders to ensure the specified needs are clearly articulated, gaps are identified, and to propose adjustments as needed.

Take the reins and provide technical solutions based on business requirements and prioritization. This position is charged with creating and proposing solutions for new features with considerations around scale and costs.

You'll Identify data needs for use cases and then partner with Integration Architects, to map enterprise services to the user interface.

Your technical skills will remain sharp and relevant since you will be implementing and developing code solutions 70% of the time, while also addressing issues / risks / dependencies in solution recommendations.

Required Qualifications :

• Understanding of architecture patterns to enable scalable solutions for data management, BI, and analytics.
• Deep understanding of data lifecycle management (operational databases, warehouses, integration and governance, pipelining, analytics enablement, and reporting).
• Ability to break down Agile Stories into discreet tasks with estimates for planning.
• Experienced full stack developer that has worked on complex enterprise scale applications.

Dev Skills Required :

• 7+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer using Java focusing on Spring and creating RESTful web services.
• 7+ years of debugging and optimization skills.
• 7+ years’ experience with NodeJS and JavaScript.
• 7+ years of experience creating unit / integration testing using either Selenium or Junit, etc.
• 2+ years of Chatbot experience with IBM Watson Assistant, or any other similar chatbot conversational AI tool.
• 5+ years’ experience developing and delivering microservices on OpenShift container platform.
• 5+ years’ experience with either Postman, or SoapUI or Swagger or TeamSite, or Splunk.
• 5+ years’ experience of experience participating in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud development and deployment principles using either AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Enterprise DevOps & Deployment methods :

Experience with either Jenkins, Github, or Octopus deployment (CI / CD process).

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with IBM Voice gateway and / or IBM Discovery / IBM Watson.

Understanding of data and analytics tools including Tableau, Alation, DataRobot, Trifacta.

Experience with .NET and C# development software.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or STEM or equivalent experience ( high school + 4 years of relevant experience.)
