Shipping Clerk / Packing Associate

Join our team as a Shipping Clerk / Packing Associate in St. Clair, MI. Pay rate : $17.00$19.00 per hour, based on experience. Schedule : Monday Friday, 5 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PM (No weekends!). Were looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk / Packing Associate to join a growing manufacturing team in St. Clair, MI. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity where youll play a key role in shipping, packing, and logistics support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and pack products for shipment according to customer requirements.
  • Create and process Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documents.
  • Use RF scanners and manage carrier portals (UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.).
  • Perform cycle counts and basic inventory tracking.
  • Verify product accuracy and maintain organized shipping / receiving areas.
  • Operate or assist with forklifts / pallet jacks (certification preferred but not required).

    • What Were Looking For

  • Prior shipping and packing experience accuracy and attention to detail are a must.
  • Comfortable standing for 50%+ of the day and lifting up to 2550 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel knowledge a plus).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    • Requirements

  • Background check and drug screen required prior to hire.
  • Steel-toe boots preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify).
