Software Engineer

The Software Engineer works closely with our product squads that include a product management, UI / UX, and quality assurance to build our SaaS platform to support efficient, end-to-end business processes across the industry using technologies such as .

NET Framework, RESTful APIs, SQL back-end, and React front end, all hosted in Microsoft Azure.

As a key contributor to the platform, you’ll help maintain best practices in software development, such as unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration, while delivering high-quality, efficient code that supports business processes across the industry.

This is a full-time (40 hours) hybrid position working in our Bloomington, MN office Tuesday through Thursday from 10am-3pm and remotely the remainder of the week.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently with occasional support and collaboration needed to complete work
• Develops and maintains back-end, front-end applications and cloud services using C#, React, Azure
• Accountable for delivering high quality results
• Thrives in a test-driven development organization with high quality standards
• Contributes to architecture discussions as needed, participate in sessions to resolve product issues
• Collaborates with the product manager / owner to understand user stories & requirements to meet functional needs
• Supports product team’s efforts to produce product roadmap by providing estimates for enhancements
• Supports user acceptance testing and user story approval processes on development items
• Completes other duties as assigned

Ideal Work Experience and Skills

• 2+ years of professional development experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in software development or related field preferred
• Development experience with React and .NET preferred
• Experience with Azure services preferred, including deployment and maintenance
• Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively with virtual teams of diverse backgrounds
• Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
• A track record of following through on commitments
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Professional, friendly, open, approachable and positive attitude

Travel and Work Requirements

• No travel requirements for this position
• This is a full-time (40 hours) hybrid position working in our Bloomington, MN office Tuesday through Thursday from 10am-3pm and remotely the remainder of the week.
• Duties and technical issues may sometimes require extended work hours, including weekends and holidays.
