Job Title : Behavioral Health Clinician (Bilingual) (School-Based Therapist)Job Code : HCP051 / Social Worker, Licensed 2Shift : First Full-Time (40 hours per week on average)Job Hours : Hours May Vary Base Location : Gwinnett / Newton CountiesDivision / Department / Program : APEX Program APEX Program is an innovative program that has been providing services to the students in the state of Georgia, supported by Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), and school systems.

Key to success has been having a great team of clinicians supported by caring and effective clerical team.

Under general supervision, performs psychosocial assessments, treatment planning / monitoring and discharge planning.

Provides counseling / therapy to clients requiring complex intervention.

Performs commitment determinations and / or executes orders of involuntary commitments.

Duties & Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive assessment and follow agency intake SOP.Collaboratively formulate a treatment plan addressing issues identified in assessmentProvide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence based practice therapies, and case management at designated schoolsProvide family therapy at school or virtually.

Provide prevention, education and early intervention services at school, including but not limited to faculty consultation, student services team staffing, support group for students and parent education, staff meetings and in-service trainings.

Coordinate treatment with the student, their family and teacher and other resources as indicated (e.g.

probation officer, student support team, natural supports, physician and school student support professionals)Complete all required documentation (daily clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans) in an accurate and timely manner (agency standard 24 hrs)Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate regarding shared clients, build and practice new skills, and stay up to date on agency administrative informationParticipate in clinical supervision to increase competence and professional developmentPerforms other related tasks as assigned by the supervisorOther duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications : Masters degree in counseling, Social Work or related field.

AND Licensed or license eligible in the state of Georgia (LCSW, LPC, APC, LMSW, LMFT).

Or License eligible in the state of Georgia for (APC, LMSW, LAMFT).

Note : Must be able to write, read, speak, and comprehend English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications : Experience with Carelogic or otherEHR / EMR.Previousclinical experienceworking in Community Mental Health Care for child and adolescent population.

Requirements / Competencies : Must be able to lift 20 pounds.Requires long periods of sitting / standing.Must have valid Georgia drivers license and Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.

Candidates for selection must pass a criminal background check (including fingerprinting).Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and subject to random drug screens.

Any combination of training and experience, which would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities Note : Some positions may require a valid driver's license.
