Work Hours : 7 : 45 AM - 3 : 30 PM
Caseload : 18 Students (11th Grade)
Primary Duties : IEP Writing, Teacher Collaboration, Course Material Modification, Grade Adjustments
Overview :
Freire Charter School is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract position.
This role involves working closely with 11th-grade students, with a caseload of 18. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers to support students within the mainstream classroom, and modifying course materials to ensure accessibility for all learners.
Additionally, the teacher will play a critical role in monitoring student progress, making necessary grade adjustments, and providing continuous feedback to students, parents, and staff.
