JOB TITLE : Regional Sales Manager, Medical DermatologyOBJECTIVES : The Medical Dermatology Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the business objectives assigned.

Responsibilities include : hiring, leading, coaching and managing a team of Territory Managers in promoting Sun’s Branded Dermatology products.

The Regional Sales Manager ensures that the business opportunities optimized throughout the region and within targeted physician offices, key clinics and teaching hospital accounts that specialize in the area of Dermatology.

The Dermatology Regional Sales Manager will be required to demonstrate an excellence in execution of assigned strategies and tactics along with the development of regional and local business plans that lead to achievement of sales goals and objectives.

Required : Bachelor Degree required, Advanced Degree a plusMinimum 5 years of Pharmaceutical experience3+ years’ experience as Regional or District Sales Manager (leading sales representatives) or equivalent field sales management level experienceAbility to lead, develop and coach high performing, diverse teams Very strong communication skillsThorough understanding and application skills with Microsoft Office tools : PowerPoint, Excel and WordDemonstrated clinical acumenStrong ability to collaborate, innovate and deliver resultsTop performer with documented recent performanceValid driver’s licensePreferredExperience in DermatologyExperience successfully launching productsExperience promoting high-science productsExperience with managing and communicating complex reimbursement and access issues in a highly competitive marketExperience leading high performing Dermatology teamsPERSONAL SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES : This individual must have a passion for building and leading high performing teams that deliver exceptional results.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY : Reports directly to the Area Sales DirectorResponsible for full achievement of assigned business objectivesResponsible for building and leading a field sales team consisting of Dermatology Territory ManagersWorks closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Field Reimbursement, Managed Markets and leadership to manage a commercial sales teamResponsible for the understanding and utilization of sales reports, CRM, and forecastsResponsible for managing Sales budgetsResponsible for coaching to the sales model and training needs for the sales team in coordination with Sales TrainingResponsibility for coaching his / her team on Market Access understanding, opportunity identification and pull-through of Market Access opportunitiesResponsible for meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goalsWorks with Human Resources, and Leadership to develop sales team policies, and ensures adherence to those and any Sun corporate policies as appropriateWorks closely with Sales Training to execute POA and National Sales meetingsPlays an pivotal role participating at national, regional and local meetingsLeads all regional sales activities including personnel mattersSUPERVISION RECEIVED : Reports to Area Sales DirectorSupervisory Responsibilities : Directly manages Dermatology Territory Managers as appropriate.

INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS : Interacts at multiple levels inside and outside the company. Tact, diplomacy, and a high level of professionalism are essential.
