As part of the Subway®Team, you as a Manager will focus on eight main things :
- Providing an excellent guest experience
- Ensuring that great food is prepared & served
- Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful
- Managing inventory and money control system and associated paper work
- Maintaining standards of food safety
- Follow and implement management recommended rules and procedures
- Request repair / maintenance requirement in a timely manner
- Being a team player
In addition to therole of a Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of :
- Training Team members
- Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed. Including being aware of local and national healthy and food safety codes
- Absentee management
- Supporting local and national marketing initiatives, ensuring restaurant is ready on every level for the beginning of a new marketing window
PREREQUISITES
Education : High school diploma or equivalent, collegedegree preferred
Experience : A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment,experience in supervising and training staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be an excellentcommunicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computerknowledge is essential.
Physical : Ability to work any area of the restaurantas needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system / cash register.
Thisposition requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must havethe ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
