Your Responsibilities Will Include : Learn and use our systems and software which will allow you to efficiently do the following : Greet and Check-In Patients : Warmly welcome patients, confirm appointments, and gather necessary information to start their visit smoothly.
Schedule Appointments : Efficiently manage the appointment calendar to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times. Manage Patient Records : Accurately update and maintain patient files, including medical history, treatment plans, and contact details.
Insurance Verification : Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits prior to appointments. Process Insurance Claims : Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
Handle Billing and Payments : Collect co-pays, process payments, and address patient billing inquiries with clarity and professionalism.
Coordinate Treatment Plans : Discuss treatment plans and financial options with patients, including out-of-pocket costs and insurance coverage.
Answer Phone Calls : Respond to patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and address any concerns over the phone. Prepare Reports for Referring Doctors : Compile and send necessary treatment reports and follow-ups to referring practices.
Maintain Office Supplies : Track and order front office supplies to ensure smooth operations. Assist with Patient Check-Out : Review completed treatment, schedule follow-up visits, and provide necessary documentation.
Coordinate with Clinical Team : Communicate with doctors and dental assistants to ensure a seamless patient experience. General Office Duties : Perform tasks such as filing, emailing, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
Administrative Support : Assist management with various tasks to ensure smooth office operations. What We’re Looking For : We seek a Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator with at least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a dental setting.
The ideal candidate is friendly, calm under pressure, and brings kindness, empathy, and strong organizational skills to their role.
You should be an effective communicator, tech-savvy, and attentive to detail, ensuring smooth interactions and accurate documentation throughout the office.
