TRAVEL NURSE RN - MED SURG - COVID19 - $2,624 PER WEEK

Job Details
- Position / Specialty : Med Surg Neuro RN
- Shift : 3x12 Nights (1800-0630)
- Avg. Daily Census : 32
- Years of experience REQ : Minimum 2 years' experience required.
- First-timers accepted : No
- Weekend REQ : Will work every other weekend
- Is on-call REQ? No
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed.
- Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
- Locals accepted : Yes- no radius.
- Pending License accepted : No- must have active IL license to apply.
- RTO Restrictions : Ideally no more than 5 days.
- Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.
- Special Requirements : Required Work Setting Experience : Med / Surg. Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills / Experience : Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams.
- Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills / Experience : Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management.
- Required IV therapy / Phlebotomy Skills / Experience : Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care / Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
- Required Medication Experience : Heparin, Insulin, PCA.
- Required Neurological / Psychiatric Case Skills / Experience : CVA, Pre / Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury.
Experience with Surgical drains required.
- Required Respiratory Case Skills / Experience : Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleur-evac, CPAP / BiPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre / Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy Management.
- Required Professional Knowledge and Skills : Isolation Precautions, Wound Care / Wound Vac. Continuous Bladder Irrigation experience required.
- Cerner experience required.
- Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred.
- Trauma Level II Experience Preferred.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience required.
- BLS and NIHSS required.
- Must have active IL license to apply.
