Java Software Engineer

About this role :

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and support design & development of our next-generation Merchant acquiring for Servicing & operations technology.

In this role, you will :

• Support the design, architecture, development & Integration of Merchant Payment servicing and operations platforms ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals and user experience objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and UX designers, to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of Merchant acquiring servicing platform, optimizing performance, reliability, scalability, and user experience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user feedback and iterate on product enhancements, ensuring the throughput and SLA requirements for payments.

Required Qualifications :

• 3+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, education.
• 3+ years of Proven experience in software development, with a focus on building servicing experiences with digital first architecture mindset.
• 2+ years of Strong expertise in leading the design and build of micro front end architecture and React UI components.
• 2+ years of Solid understanding of hybrid cloud technologies (Azure, Google), microservices architecture, and API integrations

Desired Qualifications :

• Merchant Acquiring, payment gateways, PCI, credit decisioning, Risk & Fraud management, funding, settlement, reconciliation, reporting, case management, IVR, Point of Sale (POS) configuration & device integration.
• Good working experience withPega BPM, React UI, Java J2EE, Kafka, Azure components, third party integrations.
• Good understanding of Design Patterns and Best Practices
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a track record of delivering projects on time.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
