Seeking Civil / Water Resources Project Engineer - 3+ years of professional experience!

The ideal candidate will have experience with, and be most interested in, water resources, civil engineering and sustainable site development.
The qualified candidate must have a passion for designing projects while meeting deadlines and providing the best possible service, along with high design aesthetics for both public and private projects across numerous sectors.

Requirements of New Team Member :
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or related field
- PE registration in MN preferred
- 3 or more years of professional experience working in the civil engineering, water resources, stormwater management and / or site design industries
- Proficient with Autodesk Civil 3-D
- Familiar with stormwater and water quality modeling software (HydroCAD & P8)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
- Well organized and highly motivated
- Passion to improve water resources and / or sustainable design practices
- Effective as a collaborative team player
Work Responsibilities :
- Lead / support analysis, design and drafting of a variety of commercial, industrial, institutional and housing projects
- Assist with stormwater assessment and hydrologic / hydraulic modeling
- Assist with stormwater BMP analysis, design and drafting
- Create grading, drainage and erosion control plans
- Create utility and stormwater management plans
- Create details, sections and other plan sheets
- Review and apply City / Watershed / County / State regulatory requirements
- Assist with preparation of written stormwater management reports
- Interface with regulatory agencies including City, Watershed, County, State and other organizations
- Review and prepare construction specifications (civil and water resources sections)
- Opportunities for self-directed project management and client development
