Responsibilities
The Marketing Assistant role is pivotal in supporting the Marketing Manager and Director of Business Development with the smooth running of departmental operations, exercising discretion, independent judgment, and maintaining confidentiality.
This position ensures professional and collaborative communication across all hospital departments, medical staff, and the public, aligning with Manatee Memorial Hospital's mission and values.
The role involves aiding in the creation of print and digital materials, organizing and aiding various special events, managing work requests, and overseeing communications tasks such as the annual events calendar, intranet, volunteer services, and the hospital newsletter.
The ideal candidate will have a knack for engaging effectively with diverse groups to foster positive, productive relationships.
Creativity, proactivity, and organizational skills are key, along with strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize for efficiency is essential. The Marketing Assistant will represent the hospital professionally both internally and externally, consistently demonstrating a commitment to Service Excellence.

Qualifications
Minimum high school graduate or equivalent required
Associate degree or equivalent continuing education preferred
Print and digital design experience preferred
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
