Marcum Search is assisting our midtown Manhattan Law Firm client in their search for a Legal Applications Support Analyst to join their firm.
The Analyst will provide support for application-related issues and ensure minimal disruptions for remote and onsite users.
The position is primarily remote with onsite as needed.
Essential Functions :
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated application and desktop issues.
- Assist with security vulnerability remediations.
- Maintain and optimize XenApp remote desktop images.
- Support the patching process for third-party applications.
- Collaborate with Tier-2 Help Desk Analysts to diagnose and resolve complex issues, mentoring them to enhance their technical skills.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency / experience with Office 365 and Windows 10 / 11 OS.
- Familiarity with Server OS 2016 / 2019 is a plus.
- Strong experience with legal applications such as iManage Desksite / Work 10, Litera products, Adobe Acrobat DC, Chrome, Edge, Office add-ins, Zoom, and MS Teams.
- Expertise in desktop hardware, printer setups and management.
- Mastery of the Windows registry and file system.
- Knowledge of user profiles (local and roaming).
- Proficient in command line and PowerShell scripting.
- Application packaging using tools like Microsoft Configuration Manager is a plus.
- Experience with Ivanti User Personalization is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Citrix Workspace App and Zoom VDI plug-ins is an asset.
- Familiarity with Citrix XenApp and Remote Desktop environments is advantageous.
- Ability to take on project responsibilities as needed.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Estimated Salary range is between $110-$130K.
