job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProven experience managing a regional HSEQ program within the engineering and design consulting industry Previous experience working on transportation, rail or water infrastructure projects (Required) Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, Quality or related discipline (Required) Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, across all business levels Lives locally in the New York area and able to travel as required (circa. 25%-40%)
A leading engineering consulting firm is looking to appoint a Regional HSEQ Leader in New York, NY. Working with cross-functional teams you will be responsible for ensuring HSEQ excellence across their multitude of projects throughout the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader, where you will be given the platform to flourish in the role.
The Role :
- Take ownership of the HSEQ program for the region. Identifying areas for growth, continuous improvement and reporting back to HSEQ leadership to ensure a best in class culture
- Act as the SME for all HSEQ matters across the organization's largest and high risk projects within the region. Advising key stakeholders on compliance and legal requirements
- Partner with cross-functional teams, embedding HSEQ into the all stages of a project lifecycle
- Keep up to date with any legislation changes to ensure the organization is compliant with all local, state and federal requirements.
