- The Electrician II will lead and perform electrical duties to include installation, preventative maintenance, and code compliance for a specific client(s).
This position follows to all Federal, State and Local laws.
Position Qualifications :
- Electrical Certification or License.
- Three () plus years of experience as an Electrician Apprentice and / or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, understand, follow, and communicate instructions.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills such as internet, email, electronic manual, etc.
- Ability to learn additional programs quickly.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Six (+) plus years' experience as an electrician.
- Prior work experience in a commercial setting.
Essential Duties :
- Ability to trouble-shoot with mid-level knowledge regarding controls and power electrical systems.
- Remove and replace motors, starters, relays, limit switches, fuses, and primary control components.
- Ability to use electronic systems using ladder logic, diagrams, and schematics.
- Ability to make new installation wiring hook-ups and upgrade present equipment
- Mid-level assembling, inspecting adjusting, repairing, or replacing faulty parts and wiring on all types of electronic and electrical devices.
- Support mechanical and electrical repairs
- Perform mid-level mechanical operations, repair, and maintenance to building systems to include automatic transfer switches, UPS / battery storage, emergency generators, and photovoltaic systems.
- Interpret and understand Federal, State, and local code ordinances.
- Must be able to work varying shifts including, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
