Location : North Chicago, IL 60064 (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Duration : 06+ months contract

Job Description :

  • This position provides support and drive for activities that support the overall long range plan ensuring the department / functions continues to be competitive and meets all required cost, compliance and customer service needs and commitments over this horizon. The project manager works independently with business partners to draft, negotiate and implement projects that maximize value and deliver results expressed in terms of compliance with the functions policies, time, scope and cost. Manages large projects or several projects of low to moderate complexity.
  • Create comprehensive project plans, budgets, objectives, strategies and deliverables.

Responsibilities :

  • May manage new product launches to ensure all filling and launch targets are met.
  • Translate project plan into measurable actions while executing against functional procedures and processes.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, functional systems, ethics policies and project goals.
  • Establish and host periodic updates to management of process. Prepare and present written and oral reports and other presentation to internal and external audiences, including senior level management.
  • Recommends innovative ways to improve performance, quality, and enhance profitability on an ongoing basis; anticipates roadblock and elevate when appropriate.
  • Develops team charter, implementation plans, conducts risk assessments and develops and implements contingency plans to accommodate unforeseen events and changes in strategy.

    • May be responsible for indirect and / or direct management of contract coordinator and / or associated project management staff including workload management, quality deliverables, and escalation of issues to management when needed.

    Experience :

  • 5-7 Years of Project Management exp.
  • Mid-level professional with strong background in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries with demonstrated experience in Project and Program Management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to convey project goals, progress, and expectations clearly to stakeholders and team members.
  • Proficiency in planning, prioritizing tasks, and managing time efficiently to keep the project on track.
  • Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions and solve problems proactively in engaging with cross-functional stakeholders, understanding their expectations, and ensuring their needs are met

    • Nice to have (but not required)

  • Lean, Six Sigma or process improvement
  • Smartsheet experience

    • Skills :

  • Project Management, Program Management, Lean, Six Sigma or process improvement, Smartsheet

    • Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or technical related field. MBA degree is beneficial and preferred and / or PMP Certification.
