Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team for a remote role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Expected starting base salary $85, to $, per year.
Job Responsibilities :
- Conducting account reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
- Overseeing accounts payable and ensuring timely collections.
- Develop financial statements, managing audits, and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
- Identifying discrepancies and recommending cost-saving strategies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial management and accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and accounting software such as QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage
Experience :
- Strong knowledge of finance, budgeting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Leadership skills in guiding accounting personnel, and make informed forecasting decisions.
- Excellent communication skills.
