Skills
- 4+ years of public accounting experience
- CPA certification required
- Strong tax research skills
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with CCH ProSystems or Axcess is a plus
- Ability to review and prepare 1040, corporate, partnership, estate, trusts, and multi-state returns for clients in various sectors including manufacturing, construction, non-profit, and employee benefit plans
Responsibilities
- Oversee tax compliance and advisory services for various clients
- Review and prepare tax returns including 1040, corporate, partnership, estate, trusts, and multi-state returns
- Conduct tax research to support compliance and planning
- Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Mentor and train junior staff in tax processes and procedures
Qualifications
- CPA certification is mandatory
- Proven experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
