Job Description
CTR Group is seeking a Quality Manager for a Sheetmetal Manufacturing Company in the Newport News, VA area.
SALARY RANGE : $62K - $72K, Position with Excellent Benefits
7am-3 : 30pm Mon-Fri, plus some overtime.
SUMMARY :
We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and control operations at our sheet metal manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet both internal and external requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.
This position requires a strong background in quality assurance procedures and the ability to lead a team towards achieving the highest standards of quality.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
