Project Manager Civil Engineering - Small Diameter Water Line Projects)
Isani Consultants, L.P. is seeking a Project Project Manager positions to assist in applying engineering expertise to small diameter water line projects.
Typical responsibilities :
- Applies standard design engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
- Prepares construction drawings for small diameter water line replacement projects
- Reviews the work of drafting personnel to assure accuracy and conformance to design requirements.
- Prepares proposals, manpower estimates, schedule and project budgets. Project task management.
- Quantity take off and prepare cost estimates.
- Maintains quality parameters per set company processes, and to meet clients’ expectations.
- Able to handle multiple projects & tasks, with varying levels of roles and responsibilities.
- Attends meetings with the Client for project design review and coordination.
- Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project consultants.
Basic Qualifications :
- B.S. or M.S. in civil engineering with at least 5-10 years of experience since graduation
- Licensed professional engineer in State of Texas (must be licensed)
- Highly Proficient in Civil 3D and modeling
- Pipeline (water or oil & gas) alignment or routing studies
- Preliminary Engineering Report studies and analyses
- Water or wastewater facility or pipeline design
- Cost estimating, Opinion of Probable Project Cost
Preferred Qualifications :
- Utility record drawing collection and review
- Knowledge of GIS analyses, Geopak and Microstation is a plus
- Familiarity with document control systems used in the AEC industry (ProjectWise, Aconex, ShareFile etc.) a strong plus
- Familiarity with City of Houston Infrastructure Design Manual.
