Job Summary :

Reporting to the President / CEO, the Branch Manager will significantly contribute to the success of the branch, through thoughtful leadership, operational and lending oversight, staff development, relationship management and providing advice and education to customers on opportunities to utilize the bank's deposit, loan products and services.

The ideal candidate will effectively manage the bank's resources, its staff, develop, maintain and exceed financial goals, deliver exemplary customer service and grow the bank's revenue.

Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Oversee daily operational, lending activities and processes, to include adherence to bank policy and procedures, audit, compliance and regulatory standards and enforcement;
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers by responding promptly to any and all requests in a clear, concise, consistent and accurate manner;
  • Maintain oversight of all branch staff and provide training, mentorship, resources and assistance as necessary; conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff;
  • develop and implement staff training programs;
  • Implement marketing and promotional campaigns;
  • Ensure security and safety protocols are followed;
  • Analyze financial reports and identify areas for improvement;
  • Maintain current knowledge of bank loan and other financial products and services to meet customer needs;
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction;
  • Participate in community events and personally contact bank's customers to continually promote its available services and financial products and raising its visibility;
  • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly;
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures, in addition to regulatory and federal standards;

Provide excellent customer service and build relationships by greeting customers in person, through phone contact in providing general information, answering questions and directing he / she to the appropriate person, as necessary.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Banking, Business Administration, or similar discipline; or recent commensurate relevant retail / commercial banking experience;

At least 5 years of experience in a recent similar capacity within a retail / commercial bank

  • At least 3 years of recent managerial experience within a retail / commercial bank;
  • Commercial lending, credit underwriting, or credit analysis experience, preferred;
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations within the banking industry;
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Exemplary time management, organizational, problem-solving, attention to detail, multi-tasking, decision-making, critical thinking and customer service skills;
  • Ability to work effective alone and within a high-pressure team environment;
  • Valid CA driver's license, clean and insurance driving license;

Federal MLO Active Registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (able to successfully register and obtain the Federal MLO active status once hired)

Compensation :

$95,000 - $130,000 DOE, for this full-time, exempt position.

Benefits :

  • 10 - 15 days of paid vacation annually on an accrued basis, depending upon experience level / job title;
  • 6 days of paid sick time annually, allotted on January 1 of each year, with a carryover not to exceed 90 days;
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance paid 100% for the employee; dependent coverage at employee's cost available through employee's payroll deductions;
  • Simple IRA Plan, with up to 3% annual company match, not to exceed employee's contributions;
  • 11 paid public holidays annually;

Restricted stock grant of 300 / 600 shares awarded within 90 days of employment, depending upon experience level / job title.

Working Hours :

8 : 15AM - 5 : 15PM Monday - Thursday

8 : 15AM - 6 : 15PM - Friday

1 out of every 4-6 Saturdays - 8 : 30AM - 12 : 30PM
