- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Tele RN for a travel assignment.
- The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as Tele RN.
- Hold an active BLS, ACLS and CA license.
Schedule Information
- Shifts are 12 hours, 6 : 45 to 7 : 15.
- Schedules are made about 2-3 weeks ahead initially, then they try to schedule them out 9 weeks in advance.
- Self-scheduling for the most part.
- 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
- Work into perm staff rotation.
Unit Specific Information
- Unit : IMCU (2 West)
- Beds in unit : 30 beds.
- Ratios : 1 to 3-4 patients per nurse.
- Floating : float to Tele - 2Central or Tele - 4West.
- Floor specific orientation : 1 shift on unit.
- Common diagnoses / Types of patients : CHF, COPD, Renal failure, pneumonia, will have drips but will not have to titrate.
Additional Details
- COVID Vaccine Required.
- NIHSS required.
- Telemetry, L / D, Emergency, and Critical Care RN's will take a proctored Dysrhythmia Test onsite, day one. This is a PASS / FAIL test.
