InHome Golf is growing! To accommodate this rapid growth, we need to bring on talented individuals who can take responsibility for carrying out project installs of our golf simulator solutions.
Our systems are sold to private individuals who have a passion for golf, golf clubs, commercial golf facilities, and instructors.
Your key focus will be to perform the end-to-end on-site installation and deliver the customer’s dream golf simulator. The Golf Simulator Installation Specialist is responsible for providing quality installation of our golf simulators and will be expected to present themselves professionally in a high-end environment.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Work directly with Installation Project Manager to understand and verify all project requirements and prerequisites before installation.
Carry out end to end and high-quality installation for golf simulator systems, including but not limited to golf simulator sensors / cameras, simulator impact screens, subfloor and putting green turf, sidewall protection, ceiling protection, curtains, wall pads, baffles, TV and monitor mounting, etc.
Establish positive relationships with customers and co-workers
Provide simulator client support per our current policies and agreements
Establish best practices and innovative concepts related to product installations
Lead by example, demonstrating an attitude of safety, cost control, asset management, and professionalism to all indirect supervision.
Experience And Required Qualifications
2 years of construction or handyman experience
Ability to travel domestically (up to 39 weeks a year)
Experience reading contractor plans
Strong organization, planning, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customer representatives, and private homeowners
Understanding and using power tools safely
Experience with AV and PC products
Carpeting experience
Understanding and using power tools safely
Basic understanding of golf and / or golf swing
Ability to read instructions, write reports, complete after-action forms
Passion, drive, excellent work ethic, and ability to self-start without direct supervision
Takes pride in knowing you have built the customer’s dream golf simulator
Ability and desire to work independently
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED
