JOB TITLE : PRESS BRAKE APPRENTICE - 2nd Shift (3 : 00pm - 1 : 30am)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY : Assist in forming sheet metal parts under close supervision while developing the skills necessary to operate a press brake safely and efficiently. The apprentice will learn to produce high-quality components that meet B&J standards while emphasizing teamwork, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
This position will be a temp to perm position. Temp for up to 90 days. If successful in apprentice role, goal would be to promote ideal candidate to full time regular position as a Press Brake Operator I.

Maximum (minutes) : Sit 90, Stand 90, Walk 15, Bend 30, Squat 30, Lift 30, Twist 20, Kneel 5, Reach Above Shoulder 15, Climb 5, Drive 5, Push / Pull 15.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must have normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) and hearing (with or without corrective hearing aids).
Working Environment : Shop environment. Moderate noise level. Exposure to dust, heat and cold.
This position will require drug testing per company policy.
