Postdoctoral position Tumor Microenvironment and Metastasis Labelle Lab
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Myriam Labelle at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
The Labelle laboratory studies the role of the microenvironment in cancer progression and metastasis, with major efforts dedicated to elucidating the molecular mechanisms by which platelets, immune cells, and the extracellular matrix cooperate to promote metastasis.
Ongoing studies leverage a wide array of model systems and techniques including novel mouse models of metastasis, patient-derived samples, in vitro co-culture systems, molecular biology, multi-omics, and advanced microscopy approaches.
The Labelle lab is a very collaborative and interactive environment focused on the scientific and career development of trainees.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team. The applicant should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of collaborative research efforts, and a strong desire to make a major contribution to the field of cancer metastasis.
Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, or animal models is preferred but not required.
