The HT Group has partnered with a growing, PE-backed fitness entity in the Brentwood area in the search for a qualified Staff Accountant for an immediate need.
Our client is looking for a self-starter with experience managing transactional (AP / AR) and operational (assisting in month-end close) accounting facets preferably in multiple-entity / location settings.
This role will be remote for the first 3-4 months as they continue their HQ buildout before moving to a mostly in-office hybrid schedule (4 days in-office / 1 remote).
Direct Hire $65-75K / solid benefits Remote / Hybrid Brentwood / Williamson County location
What you will do :
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Assist with financial statements, budgeting, and month-end close processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teams to streamline accounting procedures and ensure compliance.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient financial management.
- Perform other accounting duties and support other team members as required or assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum of 1-3 years of corporate accounting experience required
- Previous experience managing AP and AR processes ideal.
- QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Intacct ERP experience ideal.
- Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in MS Excel required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
