General Cleaner - 2nd Shift PT in Rehoboth DE
Overall cleaning and maintenance of designated building space. Functions include cleaning, dusting, cleaning floors, emptying trash, cleaning windows / blinds, sanitizing and replenishing restroom and kitchen / break room products (e.
g., soap, paper products, etc.). Responsible for the care and repair of company-owned property (e.g., vacuums and other products used on-the-job).
Performs additional miscellaneous duties as required by the client and / or management. Skills :
- Work well with others : coworkers and clients.
- Exhibit professionalism and be courteous at all times.
- Follow company policies.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, have a positive attitude, and be able to work independently. Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Dust high and low surfaces (above shoulder height).
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, and restores dispensers with soap and paper products.
- Removes trash, relines trash containers, cleans receptacles if required and takes trash to dumpster.
- Dust mop and damp mops floors, vacuum, shampoo carpeted floors.
- Cleans additional rooms as requested (e.g., after special event or meeting).
- Replace / cleans soiled draperies.
- Clean refrigerators and other areas as instructed by manager. Requirements : Employees are required to obey all warning and safety signs and read labels on cleaning products.
Employee must be able to communicate in English
