About The Position

Barton Associates is seeking a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Maine. This opportunity involves providing anesthesiology services starting 05 / 12 / 2025, for an initial duration of 12 days with the potential for extension. The schedule is from 7 am to 5 pm on an ongoing basis. The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients during various ambulatory procedures, with minimal admissions expected.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Administer anesthesia for general ambulatory cases
  • Provide anesthesia services for surgical procedures as needed
  • Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia accordingly
  • Manage patient recovery from anesthesia
  • Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety standards
  • Adapt to varying case loads and types of procedures
  • Provide expert care in an outpatient-focused setting
  • Handle any anesthesia-related emergencies that may arise

Additional Information :

  • Maine CRNA license required
  • Experience in ambulatory and outpatient anesthesia preferred
