Qualifications :

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and independently determine how to manufacture the part.
Must be able to use and read measuring tools.
Must be able to set up and run manually operated mills, lathes, grinders (cylindrical, surface, and Blanchard), saws, gear hobbing machines, honing machines, jib borer, key seater, and drill press.
Read and use machinist tools.

Set up and run the following :

Manual Lathe.
Cylindrical grinder.
Surface grinder.
Blanchard grinder.
Jig borer.
Gear hobbing machine.
Honing machine.
Saws.
Key seater.

Requirements :

Machine Shop experience preferred.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Detail oriented.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Applicant should have a High School Degree.
College or Technical diploma a plus (or the years equivalent to on-the-job training).
