Position Overview
Oasis Treatment is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our integrated clinical team, providing comprehensive psychological services to adults with mental health and substance use disorders. This position involves conducting psychological assessments, providing individual and group psychotherapy, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed care.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment & Diagnostic Services
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments using standardized instruments
- Perform psychological testing for cognitive, personality, and neuropsychological functioning as clinically indicated
- Complete risk assessments for suicide, violence, and safety planning
- Develop detailed treatment recommendations and integrate findings with multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Provide diagnostic clarification for complex clinical presentations and co-occurring disorders
- Complete court-ordered evaluations and assessments as requested
Individual and Group Psychotherapy
Provide evidence-based individual psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed therapies, and motivational interviewingFacilitate therapeutic groups including process groups, psychoeducational groups, and skills-based interventionsDeliver specialized treatment for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use disordersIntegrate psychological interventions with addiction treatment and recovery support servicesMaintain active caseload appropriate to full-time or part-time statusProvide crisis intervention and safety planning as neededStaff Competency & Clinical Support
Ensure clinical staff are competent to perform their job duties and responsibilities during any hiring processProvide psychological consultation and clinical expertise to treatment teamsOffer supervision and mentoring to psychology interns, practicum students, and clinical staffConduct competency assessments for psychological assessment and intervention skillsDocument staff competency evaluations and maintain compliance with accreditation standardsLead training sessions on psychological assessment, evidence-based treatments, and clinical best practicesInterdisciplinary Collaboration & Integration
Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, counselors, and peer support staff in treatment planningParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultationsCoordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and external treatment providersIntegrate psychological services with medical care, peer support, and social servicesCommunicate assessment findings and treatment recommendations to team members and familiesSupport transitions between levels of care and continuity of psychological servicesDocumentation & Compliance
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systemMaintain compliance with HIPAA, state licensing board requirements, and organizational policiesEnsure psychological assessment reports meet professional and legal standardsParticipate in quality assurance reviews and clinical auditsComplete required continuing education and maintain professional certificationsAdhere to APA ethical guidelines and state psychological practice standardsProgram Development & Quality Improvement

Required :
Education : Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field from an APA-accredited programLicensure : Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in OregonExperience : Minimum 2 years of post-doctoral clinical experience working with adultsSpecialization : Experience treating substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and trauma-related disordersAssessment Skills : Proficiency in psychological assessment, testing, and diagnostic evaluationTherapeutic Skills : Demonstrated competency in evidence-based psychotherapy approachesTechnology : Proficiency with EHR systems and electronic psychological assessment toolsCommunication : Excellent verbal and written communication skillsTransportation : Valid driver's license and reliable transportationPreferred :
