Is an active member of a local Christ centered community of faith. Reflects the vision of the school, which is to Live for God, Love like Jesus, and Learn for Life. Maintains a personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, and good taste, and that is in agreement with any applicable school policy. High School Diploma or GED. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the values of the Christian school. Experience coaching at the secondary level, preferably in a school setting. Reliable transportation. Physical and Mental Effort : The role of a seasonal coach at Midland Christian involves both physical and mental exertion, requiring dedication, resilience, and a commitment to the holistic development of students. Exempt Hours : This is a seasonal position. Essential Functions Essential functions of this position include the following. Employees in this position perform some or all of the following functions. Other duties may be assigned. Coaching Lead and mentor student-athletes in your designated sport, providing instruction, guidance, and support in both skills development and character formation. Plan and Conduct regular practices, focusing on skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship. Represent the school with integrity and sportsmanship at games, competitions, and events. Spiritual Development Model Christ-like behavior and values through actions and interactions with students.
